Before the commencement of this Act, all licenses granted by the Government of Nepal or an officer authorized by the Government of Nepal in connection with the production, distribution, exhibition and construction of movie houses shall be subject to this Act. It will be considered as given as follows. However, if there is no adequate provision for the safety, health and convenience of the audience in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act in relation to a movie house that has been licensed before the commencement of this Act, the owner of such a movie house shall, in order to arrange for the safety, health and convenience of the audience, according to this Act. The rule will be valid for two years from the date of commencement.
